This Nigerian singer and songwriter is not just making music; he’s breaking barriers and reshaping perceptions. He is, in his own words, a person with a disability. But rather than letting it define him, he defies it. With a melody in his heart, an unyielding spirit and a unique lyrical voice so versatile and powerful, Agwaoma is proving that disabilities are no match for determination. His possibilities are endless as a musician.

 

EARLY YEARS :  A STUDIO RAT

Determination Agwaoma is known  mainly as "Determination Worldwide"  aka "Mr. Melody" aka "Melo uanille".

Determination is a Nigerian, born and brought up in Enugu State. He now lives in Abuja.

Growing up was never easy or fun for him as he has been seating in a particular wheelchair all his life. One good thing about Determination is that he never allowed his situation to define his abilities, rather he chose to change his situation with his God-given talent, that unique voice and music.

Despite his situation, Determination didn't give up on his musical career.

This popular saying that everyone has a special gift, coming to that, Determination is blessed with a sweet melodious voice that can move your spirit no matter the mood you are in.

Determination were a student of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT where he  studied Accounting and Auditing.

SOCIAL MEDIA : TIK TOK EXPLOSION

Over the years, he has been recording short videos of himself freestyling and posting on social media, tagging some celebrities while still hoping on God to pick up his call. With over  5,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, 100.000 in instagram and 300.000 in facebook. 

Through his Instagram and Facebook page, he builds connections, sharing his latest updates and fostering a community of like-minded souls. His Social Media pages isn’t just a platform for music; it’s a heaven for those who seek empowerment. Agwaoma epitomizes the idea that limitations are mere illusions, and his music radiates this philosophy. Agwaoma’s captivating music videos resonate deeply with his audience.

Older tunes like “Never Give Up,” “I Can Do It,” and “Believe in Yourself” aren’t merely songs – they’re anthems of triumph over adversity.

Of recent, Determination made his way to the studio and did this amazing song titled “Ugochi” where he professed love to the girl he loves or maybe to all the beautiful Ugochi’s out there. 

Then he created the famous prayer “Way,” thanks to it he became well known to the platforms, then " Jamaika Weed" , and recently the anthem "Kwechiri", related with the political situation in Nigeria. His last song is "Talk" and "Egwu", a collaboration with a portorican singer.
